Thank you for your interest in our 3rd Edition of our Ultimate soloist & Dynamic Duo Competition brought to you by LMIDC .

ENTRIES
1. FINAL Registration Deadline: October 25th 2025
2. Entries accepted on a first come first serve basis or until the category is full.
3. Dancers may enter more than one category.
4. Categories without 3 or more entries, may be canceled or merged.
5.  Soloists and Duets can only enter once per category example 
once in Folk a and once in folk b etc. Soloist and duets cannot register in the same category twice. 
6. There are absolutely no refunds. (Unless competition is canceled)
7. All applications, forms, contracts, releases, monies, etc. must be signed by competitors
and received by The LM International Dance Competition or its staff, before being accepted
into any category in the Competition.
8. Registration is On-line Only.


AGE DIVISIONS






















9. All dancers must compete in their designated age category. Please be honest with your
dancers’ age.
*Older Dancers cannot dance in younger divisions; However, younger dancers ARE allowed
to dance in older age divisions.
***Our competition does not go based on the average age of dancers. We go based on the
age of your oldest dancer in the Entry. ***

CATEGORIES
























MUSIC






















Music Must be emailed to LMdancecompetition@gmail.com By October 30th 2025
Songs must be
labeled with entry name and Studio name.
1. Groups must bring either a USB , tablet or laptop as back up.
2. Time limits for each category are as follows:
● Solo - 2 minutes (max)
● Duet - 2:30 minutes (max)


4. If a contestant/s exceeds the time limit, she/he/they will be disqualified. (NO
EXCEPTIONS)
5. Music must be true to the region/ country or style of dance.
6. Teams will be disqualified if music is not submitted on time.


Dance positions & Dressing Room
1. All groups must register at the dancers check in desk.
2. Dancers must check in with the stage manager and be ready to perform 45 minutes prior
to their competition time.
3. We recommend all dancers to come dress with their first outfit.
Groups will be allowed to bring in their own canopy. LMIDC will be
assigning spaces to each group to place their canopy.
4. We will do our best to accommodate each team. Dressing rooms are solely for the use of
the competitors. We ask all teams to please be courteous to others and their belongings.
We will only allow Contestants, Directors in the backstage wait area.
5. Please note everyone in the backstage area must have a wristband. Either Competitor,
Director or assistant director wristband.
6. Please make sure to keep your areas clean.
7. Absolutely no barbecuing on campus. No cooking onsite. Groups can bring snacks and
pre-cooked food for their dancers and keep in their canopies. However no food will be
allowed in the backstage area as well as inside the auditorium.
Please Keep Your Areas Clean.


COMPETING
1. Dancers may start on or off the stage.
2. Dance will be performed entirely on stage.
3. We will disqualify with no refund any contestant and or parent or family member who
appears intoxicated or is behaving in a manner that may be harmful to other contestants,
spectators or staff.
4. We will disqualify with no refund any contestant, group who mistreats staff or others
involved in the competition. Bad behavior will not be tolerated.
5. All participants of the LM International Dance Competition authorize the use of photos
and video for educational and promotional purposes.
6. Winning competitors agree to use the title of their category correctly for publicity
purposes.
7. Competitors assume all responsibility and liability for themselves and all personal
property.

JUDGING
1. Contestants will be given their score sheets at the end of the competition day.
2. All scores are final!
*It is absolutely prohibited to speak to the judges regarding your performance or scores.
Anyone seen talking to the judges will be disqualified

Admission.
Tickets are limited and they will be on a first come first serve basis until sold out.
General Admission at the door will be $20
Pre-sale tickets will be available for $15 until October 25th . Group Directors please email us at LMdancecompetition@gmail.com to purchase your pre sale tickets.  
Children under 5 are free.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Place trophies will be awarded in each category.
Top Overall Awards
Top 3 Overall High Scores - Mini Division - Solo , Duet 
Top 3 Overall High Scores -  Junior Division - Solo , Duet
Top 3 Overall High Scores -  Teen Division - Solo , Duet 
Top 3 Overall High Scores -  Adult Division - Solo, Duet

The top 3 overall high Scores qualify to Compete at our 2026 LMIDC Champion of Champions Final
