Thank you for your interest in our 10th edition of LM International Dance Competition.

ENTRIES
1. FINAL Registration Deadline: May 15th 2025
2. Entries accepted on a first come first serve basis or until the category is full.
3. Dancers may enter more than one category.
4. Categories without 3 or more entries, may be canceled or merged.
5. * Dance Teams are allowed to register max 2 routines per group category/division. Solo,
Duet no limit on entries as long as they are not the same dancers. * For Solo and duet
categories dancers must be different for each entry.
6. There are absolutely no refunds. (Unless category is canceled)
7. All applications, forms, contracts, releases, monies, etc. must be signed by competitors
and received by The LM International Dance Competition or its staff, before being accepted
into any category in the Competition.
8. Registration is On-line Only.


AGE DIVISIONS






















9. All dancers must compete in their designated age category. Please be honest with your
dancers’ age.
EX: If in your dance you have 7 dancers (6) are between the ages of 9 and 12 and one of
them is 13 they must be entered in the 13 to 17 categories. We will disqualify teams that are
not in the proper age division.
*Older Dancers cannot dance in younger divisions; However, younger dancers ARE allowed
to dance in older age divisions.
***Our competition does not go based on the average age of dancers. We go based on the
age of your oldest dancer in the Entry. ***

CATEGORIES





















MUSIC






















Music Must be emailed to LMdancecompetition@gmail.com By May 15th.
Songs must be
labeled with entry name and Studio name.
1. Groups must bring either a USB , tablet or laptop as back up.
2. Time limits for each category are as follows:
● Solo - 2 minutes (max)
● Duet - 2:30 minutes (max)
● Small Team - 3 minutes (max)
● Large Team - 3:30 minutes (max)
* Production - 5 mins (max)

4. If a contestant/s exceeds the time limit, she/he/they will be disqualified. (NO
EXCEPTIONS)
5. Music must be true to the region/ country or style of dance.
6. Teams will be disqualified if music is not submitted on time.


Dance positions & Dressing Room
1. All groups must register at the dancers check in desk.
2. Dancers must check in with the stage manager and be ready to perform 45 minutes prior
to their competition time.
3. We recommend all dancers to come dress with their first outfit.
Groups will be allowed to bring in their own canopy. LMIDC will be
assigning spaces to each group to place their canopy.
4. We will do our best to accommodate each team. Dressing rooms are solely for the use of
the competitors. We ask all teams to please be courteous to others and their belongings.
We will only allow Contestants, Directors in the backstage wait area.
5. Please note everyone in the backstage area must have a wristband. Either Competitor,
Director or assistant director wristband.
6. Please make sure to keep your areas clean.
7. Absolutely no barbecuing on campus. No cooking onsite. Groups can bring snacks and
pre-cooked food for their dancers and keep in their canopies. However no food will be
allowed in the backstage area as well as inside the auditorium and Gym.
Please Keep Your Areas Clean.


COMPETING
1. Dancers may start on or off the stage.
2. Dance will be performed entirely on stage.
3. We will disqualify with no refund any contestant and or parent or family member who
appears intoxicated or is behaving in a manner that may be harmful to other contestants,
spectators or staff.
4. We will disqualify with no refund any contestant, group who mistreats staff or others
involved in the competition. Bad behavior will not be tolerated.
5. All participants of the LM International Dance Competition authorize the use of photos
and video for educational and promotional purposes.
6. Winning competitors agree to use the title of their category correctly for publicity
purposes.
7. Competitors assume all responsibility and liability for themselves and all personal
property.

JUDGING
1. Contestants will be given their score sheets at the end of the competition day.
2. All scores are final!
*It is absolutely prohibited to speak to the judges regarding your performance or scores.
Anyone seen talking to the judges will be disqualified

Admission
Please let your guests know that we do charge an admission fee to watch the competition.
General Admission will be available for Pre-sale for $15 per day until April 30th  and $18 per day until May 15th.

tickets ) Tickets are limited and they will be on a first come first serve basis until sold out.
General Admission at the door will be $20 per day
Children under 5 are free.


Awards
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place trophies will be awarded in each category.

CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS CATEGORY IS BACK!!!!!!

The TOP (2) Overall score in each age division and subcategory will get to compete again in
the Champion of Champions Round. This category will compete at the end of the day.
This is their opportunity to show which one was the best overall in the competition
