RULES AND REGULATIONS​

ENTRIES

1. Competition Registration Deadline: Final Deadline Friday January 31st 2026 or until Categories are full. 
2. Entries accepted on first come first serve basis until category is full.
3. Categories without 3 or more entries, may be canceled or merged.
4. Competition is open! you do not need to purchase workshops in order to compete.
6. There are absolutely no refunds. (Unless category is cancelled)

MUSIC

Music Must be emailed to LMdancecompetition@gmail.com By February 7th 2026 Songs must be labeled with Contestant Name and Category

Example ( Roxana - Queen Category)

1. Time limits for each category are as follows: 

• Semi Pro - 3 minutes 30 seconds (max)

• Fusion  - 3 minutes (max)

• Rising Star - 3 minutes (max)

• Princess - 3 minutes (max) 

• Folklore - 3 minutes (max)

• Drum Solo - 2 minutes (max)

• Queen  (Professional) - 4 minutes (max)

• Group - 5 minutes (Max)

 If a contestant/s exceeds the time limit, contestant's score will be deducted by 10 points. (NO EXCEPTIONS)​​​​​​​​​​​​​

DANCE POSITIONS & Dressing Room

•  Contestants are to check in with our Staff 45 minutes prior to their Category start time.

• Any contestant that is not ready at their designated time slot will be disqualified from category

• Competition Line up is determined by LMIDC/Royal Crown BDC Staff.

• Dressing rooms will be available. 

•  Dressing rooms are solely for the use of the competitors. We ask all competitors to please be courteous to others and their belongings. We will only allow Contestants, Group directors in the dressing room. All other guests will be asked to leave the dressing room.

• Please note everyone in the dressing room must have a wristband. Either Competitor, Director or Spectator wristband.

COMPETING

1. Dancer may start on or off the stage.
2. Dance will be performed entirely on stage.
3. We will disqualify with no refund any contestant who appears intoxicated or is behaving in a manner that may be harmful to other contestants or contest staff.
4. We will disqualify with no refund any contestant who mistreats staff or others involved in the competition. Bad behavior will not be tolerated.
5. All participants of the Royal Crown Belly Dance Competition /LM International Dance Competition authorize the use of photos and video for educational and promotional purposes.
6. Winning competitors agree to use the title of their category correctly for publicity purposes.
Contestants agree that by entering Royal Crown Belly Dance Competition agree to hold The Royal Crown Belly Dance Competition, LM International Dance Competition , Event promoters Roxana & Viridiana or any of its volunteers and or affiliates harmless of any issues that may arise at this event. Participant understands that the above mentioned people and entities are not responsible for any lost or stolen items or damages that may occur. Participants understand that all photos and videos may be used at the discretion of Royal Crown Belly Dance Competition and LM International Dance Competition for promotional purposes. Participant further understand that all entry fees are non-trasnferable and non-refundable. by completing the registration forms and making my payment participant acknowedges the information stated above and agrees to the terms of The Royal Crown Belly Dance Competition & LM International Dance Competition .

Admission -

Please let your guests know that we do charge an admission fee to watch the competition.

• Competition ONLY Spectator Fee $25 (Sunday February 22nd 2026 9am to 3pm )

• Gala Show ONLY Ticket Fee $35 (Sunday February 22nd at 4pm ) 

• All Day Access Spectator pass $45 (Includes Competition & Gala Show)

• 8:45am - Dancer Check in begins

• 8:45am - Doors open to the public

• 9:am - Competition Begins  Order: to be determined

• 1:45 pm - 2025 Royal Crown Champions Performances 

• 2:00pm Award ceremony

Doors Close for break (2:30pm to 3:30pm ) 

Doors Re-open for Gala Show 3:30pm
